What is Blister packaging?

Blister packaging is a thermo-formed plastic packaging method which is used to create highly durable, tamper proof and transparent pre-formed packages by heating a plastic sheet and moulding it in desired shape with the help of a dye and hot air. These packages are generally meant to be used for packing of the light-weight objects, while the high-weight objects make use of the sturdier clamshell packaging.
